Please help Katie get her life back from CRPS!

Hello everyone, I am starting a donation page to help with sweet Katie's medical treatments. For those who do not know, Katie has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). This is a severe chronic pain condition that can occur after an injury to a limb. I was so scared to read that this is called the suicide disease because it can be hopeless.

Katie is the young age of 16 and is one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet. Someone this young with so much life to live doesn't deserve to be in such pain on a daily ongoing basis. Katie is a high performance paddler who has gone from training daily to not being able to train or compete at all. She is feeling her dreams slip away.

There is only one clinic in the world that specializes in CRPS and has great success in putting this scary disease into remission. It is called the Spero Clinic and is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This program is a twelve plus week program depending on how the treatments work. As you can imagine the cost is staggering. It will be at least 100000.00 not including equipment needed to continue therapy when Katie returns home. Katie is booked to go in April 2022 for the first part of her therapy.

The funds raised will help cover clinic costs, travel, accommodations, car rental, and lost wages for the duration of the therapy (the numbers can be overwhelming when working it all out)

We knew as soon as we heard this that we needed to do everything we could to help. Anyone who knows the MacMillan's know how beautiful of a family they are. They are always the first up to the plate when someone else needs help. Now they need a little help from us and every little bit will help!
