Please help Ken fix his medical equipped van
Donation protected
My friend Ken is a quadriplegic and has been in a wheelchair since 1986. He is currently in the process of moving back home to Prince George, British Columbia. Doing so will help Ken keep his independence he strives for.
Three weeks ago, he discovered the motor in his accessible van has blown. Ken has maintained his van on a disability pension for 34 years. The combination of relocating to Prince George and replacing the engine is above what he can afford. I am hoping to raise money to help Ken with the cost of the replacement and installation for a new engine, as those costs are very high.
His current location does not have wheelchair accessible cabs. Ken relies on his van to do daily tasks and get to important Specialists appointments that are out of town.
He would be grateful for any support while trying to reach this goal.
