Please Help Kirsten Battle Cancer for the 3rd Time

We have devastating news. On February 14th, Kirsten found out that her breast cancer is back for the third time. Unfortunately, it has spread to her bones, liver, and lungs. Thanks to the help a dear friend, Kirsten is now being treated by the foremost expert in her type of cancer (triple negative) at UCLA. The doctor is doing everything in his power to give Kirsten as much time and quality of life as possible.

Kirsten is adamantly opposed to a Go Fund Me in her name, but we have overridden her because she really does need the help. Her out-of-pocket expenses are already mounting, and even though Kirsten is dead set on working as long as possible, her teacher salary doesn’t come close to covering all the rising costs. Thankfully, she has very good insurance, but a really high deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.

We need your help! We would love for her not to worry about her high deductible, co-pays, and out of pocket expenses for treatments like physical therapy, acupuncture, and massage, all of which are helping with the excruciating pain from the bone tumors.

Also, we are encouraging Kirsten to take a once in a lifetime trip with her kids while she is still able to travel. We need your help to make this trip a reality. This trip gives Kirsten and the kids something to look forward to. It’s a bucket list item!
