Friends and family, my sister Leah Bixler was injured in a traumatic vehicle accident on May 14th, 2022. A spinal fracture to her C5 and C6 has left her partially paralyzed. We are so grateful she is still with us. She is a loving mother of two, a wife, daughter, sister and friend. She has been an RN in the Akron Summa T3 intensive care unit for 17 years. She cared for the sick and dying through COVID and is the most compassionate and kind person. Our family humbly asks for help. Leahs home is not handicap accessible and will need many modifications to adapt to her new needs. We are doing everything we can to bring her home to be with her children. We appreciate the love and support Leah has been given, thank you all!
