Please help Lily's mom with afterlife expenses.

We are raising funds to help pay day to day and hospital bills for Lily and her family. Tragedy struck November 30, 2022 (shortly after her 18th birthday) when Lily was struck by a large SUV, going 45 mph, as she attempted walk across the street. Lily is currently on a ventilator with many serious injuries. She has several sources of bleeding in her brain, cervical and thoracic spinal fractures, all of her ribs on her left side are fractured, multiple pelvic fractures, both collar bones are fractured, and scapula fracture as well. She's had her spleen emergently removed and is scheduled to have a tracheostomy and feeding tube placed into her stomach this weekend. Lily has also incurred one of the most severe traumatic brain injuries, a level 3 diffuse axonal injury in her corpus callosum and brain stem. Due to her young age, we are hopeful that she can reach meaningful recovery- even though this could take many months. Lily is nearly two hours away from home, which places her mom in a tough financial position as she needs to be close to Lily during these tenuous times. Any funds raised will be used to help her mom stay close by, travel home as needed, keep bills covered, and help with the tremendous hospital bills that are being incurred. If Lily makes it through this stage, she has a very long road ahead of her that will require several surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. We are all extraordinarily grateful for any help that can be offered.
