Hi, my name is Jon, and I am friends with Kendra & Troy (A US Navy Sailor) Scarberry. I am fundraising to raise money to help with medical bills, household bills and needs while their precious baby girl, Lillith “Lily”, fights for her life with Leukemia.
Earlier this month Lily developed a large swollen mass on the side of her neck almost overnight. She was taken to the ER where a ultrasound was done and diagnosed with a swollen lymph node was given antibiotics and sent home. A few days later the mass grew larger as well as other lumps began to form. Another trip to the ER led to Lily being admitted into Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital for 3 days being pumped full of IV antibiotics and no change. Initial vital signs, labs and blood work came back normal. After ENT consult, the decision was to do a biopsy and surgery to remove the lymph nodes until they decided against the invasive surgery and just keep her on antibiotics and she was discharged and sent home.
Lily’s condition continued to worsen and she was taken back to the ER on October 19th and admitted into Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital again. After blood work came back from the lab, The Scarberry’s world got flipped upside down. Their precious little girl was diagnosed with T Cell Leukemia riddled throughout her body.
She had a bone marrow biopsy, spinal fluid biopsy and a port placed for easy introduction of chemo. She starts chemo tonight.
Troy is a Sailor in the US Navy and is stationed in Pensacola and is commuting back and forth throughout all of this.
Kendra is a Surgical Technologist at a local hospital.
Please, I am asking if you can find it anywhere within your budget to PLEASE donate to this wonderful family at this time of need. Please help The Scarberry’s so they can focus on Lily and also their three boys, “little” Troy, Andrew and Kaine as they will be out of work for a while to focus on helping Lily in this fight for her life.
