Please Help Limecello

Hi friends,

I need help. This is awkward, but I'm in a really bad position right now. For the first time in my life since I was two years old I'm not in school and totally without work. It's ... a really strange thing to realize.

More importantly, I have a really major surgery coming up. Yes, unfortunately, again. Some of you have been my online friends for years, and if you're counting, this is the fifth one in just a few years. I won't be allowed to or able to walk for about two months before I can start trying to bear weight, then do physical therapy. All of this has a lot of costs. For example, the wheelchair I thought would be available for me to use is no more so I'll need to buy one. (Insurance isn't an option here.) And this surgery isn't something that can be delayed - it needs to happen or I'll entirely lose my ability to walk. Beyond that, a lot of the medical equipment I used to have needs to be repaired or replaced. The home hospital bed, a walker, cane, surgery ice machine and such.

Plus you know, no job since my position was eliminated. Due to the medical issues and more I've only had part time work for the past decade+ so I don't really have anything to fall back on.

I know everyone is stretched thin, and a lot of people in Romanceland have had various problems and fundraisers. I really hope though that you'll be able to help as you can. I feel ... shamed at having to ask for help, but desperate times and all.
