Please help Linda & Rudy (Dude)

My parents Linda & Rudy Mauldin lost everything to their name when our beloved long time cabin home of nearly 30 years burned to the ground sometime in the early morning hours on 12/9/2021 in Stockton, UT. This is truly a horrific and awful tragedy that our family is reeling over. (total loss)

My mother barely escaped with her life. For that we Thank God. Her beloved Truckee kitty was unable to be saved. Also, this is a challenging time of year for a disaster of such magnitude as the blow comes along with the first winter storm just weeks before Christmas. This cabin was home to many over the years. So many of mine and my bothers friends growing up knew this cabin as their home as well, a safe place, a place to eat Linda's famous beans and enchiladas, where Rudy would pick on the guitars and we would sing tunes on the wrap around deck. My mother always welcoming everyone in with a beautiful smile and a cold drink, and my father always carrying a cow poke joke or three. This was their lives work and their hard earned investments. Everything they built together over the course of their lives is now in ashes. We know things will never be the same, but I am trying, as the eldest sibling in conjunction with my younger brother, to soften the blow as we sit here with unanswered questions and bleeding hearts.
