Little Teddies parents

Hi, My name is Nathan Walne. Last Saturday my Sister, Zoe and brother in law Duncan’s life was turned upside down when there beautiful little boy Teddie, went from bouncing around a family Easter egg hunt on Friday afternoon, with his infectious smile and joyful little personality to the early hours of Sunday morning beginning to feel a little under the weather. When they awoke on Sunday, Teddie had a temperature and an unusual rash had developed. Teddie deteriorated very quickly, within hours he was being rushed to Blackburn Hospital in an ambulance where the fantastic medical staff and Teddie began the fight for his life!
Teddie was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and septicaemia, he was then transferred to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital where he is now continuing his fight along with the wonderful doctors and nurses who have been caring for him.
From that day on Easter Sunday Teddies Mum and Dad have obviously not left his side. They have 3 other children who are staying with grandparents.
Duncan, Teddies dad is a self employed Landscape gardener and has been unable to work. I believe that any parent going through such a traumatic time in their life, where their child is so very poorly and literally have to take things day by day. Should not have the added worry and financial pressure that they are beginning to feel.
This is why I am trying to fund raise to help in some way alleviate any other worries so they can solely concentrate all their care and energy onto their little fighter Teddie
I would be so grateful as I’m sure they would, if you are in a situation to help in anyway you can, no matter how small.
Also if you see this please share it if only to raise awareness of this awful illness and just how fast things can progress.
Thanks so much
