Please help Logan's road to recovery!

On April 17 our amazing Logan was in a terrible car accident. Logan was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital but due to his extensive injuries, he had to be transferred to Tampa General Trauma Unit. Logan has now been in the ICU for two weeks. This has been our family's nightmare. Logan is currently intubated, dealing with a severe Traumatic Brain Injury, he has had surgery to repair a torn aorta, has had a craniotomy to relieve brain pressure, surgery to repair his broken femur and a spinal injury.

This has been a very difficult time for our family. We have been trying to navigate all of this information while trying to advocate and take the best care of our Logan. We thank God that he has given us the gift of Logan's life and while we are still in critical care, we know that we have a very long road ahead of us.

Randy and Rick are so thankful for everyone that has reached out, continuously prayed and helped our family so far. Now that we are coming up for a little air we know that it will be a long road with many expenses and services he will need that will not be covered by insurance.

How you can help Logan?

1. Pray for the healing of Logan's body. We trust in God to heal Logan and bring him home to us. I will continue to update you on Logan's progress so that our friends and family can follow along.

2. Financially. You never realize how important a GoFundMe is until it is your family. The family is going to have a lot of expenses for medical, rehabilitative and other expenses not covered by insurance.

3. Watch a Nascar Race and cheer on Kyle Larson. Hit up Pop's in Nokomis on Wednesday night to watch Logan's favorite band Karate in the Garage.

Logan is a dedicated CoolToday employee and a diehard NASCAR fan, he loves spending time with his family and he truly is our perfect guy. We appreciate the outpouring of love everyone has shown us during this difficult time. Keep the prayers coming!
