Hey there my name is Tara! And I’m asking for help with my best friend Lucy Lou. Lucy is a 2 year old American Akita and a registered service dog. You see I have epilepsy and she notifies us when I am getting ready to have one so that we can be a little bit more prepared and in a safer position while seizing. She’s my very best friend and provides me with lots of love and warmth to keep me calm and my anxiety at bay. She is a rare Akita as she adores people well most people and is super friendly with the public. So just yesterday Lucy was attacked by 2 other dogs both put bulls and they clamped down on her and wouldn’t let go. I did everything I could to get them apart and they just weren’t releasing her. Actually they chewed up her leg and ripped and artery apart. So I rushed her to the vet hospital as blood was squirting everywhere knowing that I didn’t have the money to pay for the visit but praying that they would work some type of payment plan out with me. Oh boy was I wrong. They wanted 1800$ to 2200$ yo sew her up. The best I could do was 450$. So they took my 450$ every last cent of it to bandage her up and tie up the severed artery. My baby can barely move and they informed me that more than likely the skin will die and she will have to get her leg amputated. Please help me get my baby sewed up and the proper procedure done before she loses her leg? Any bit helps there’s no such thing as too small or too much? I can’t lose her she has saved my life so many times I feel so helpless not being able to get her proper care and medical attention! Thank everyone for reading this and pray for my Lucy Lou!
