Help Lynne battle colorectal cancer
Donation protected
This new post is from me Lynne, not John. I want you to know exactly what's going on right now, not my prior or projected history, as John thought was relevant. I have to fight colorectal cancer and a few other issues so I would not be sending out this plea for help once again, if not necessary.
For those of you who have already donated, please accept my sincere thank you, but I ask that you think about sending me a bit more, as any amount you can spare ($5, $10, $25 or more) will help.
Every donation does count, no matter the amount. I am ashamed to ask for this help once again, but I must. For many reasons, we do not have any savings or retirement funds to fall back upon to help us handle an event like this.
Most of the medical costs to get me through this thankfully will be covered by Medicare. But the support I truly need, is help to cover the unexpected non-medical costs that surface when a diagnosis like this occurs. Gas, lodging, groceries, prescriptions, home care, etc.
John and I live off of two fixed incomes, and Medicare is my only insurance. They will not cover the majority of post surgical and other treatment items and services I will need. John is covered by the VA, but that does nothing to help me.
Because of this request for help, I have learned that many of you are dealing with, or have already dealt with cancer or worse. Please know your words of encouragement, and stories of survival have inspired me and are so appreciated.
John and I will be tackling this battle with only each other for support, so all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart should you continue to support us and help me on this journey.
