Please Help Maria with Kidney Transplant Expenses

Hello. My name is Raluca and I am fundraising for my dears friend Maria's Kidney transplant expenses.

Maria is a very courageous, brave and stoic young lady. She suffered from kidney failure in 2017. She began her dialysis journey, which is a gift of life, but at the same time it’s hard to appreciate a gift that steals time and quality of life.

After 4 years of hardship, Maria was blessed with a new kidney and the surgery went well. She is very humbled and forever grateful towards her donor, donors are indeed heroes in every sense of the word.

My goal is to raise money for medical expenses, because as we would all suspect, this surgery comes with wildly costs, weekly visits to the doctor’s, weekly lab tests and medication in order to ensure a smooth recovery, both physically and psychologically. Kidney transplant patients are also advised to take time off work for an extended period of time, as the body needs time to adapt to this experience.
