Please Help Mary Lach Fight Breast Cancer

Hello there! My name is Laura and I am fundraising on behalf of my mother, Mary Lach.

Mary has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having surgery on Thursday (8/10), followed by radiation and possibly chemo.

Mary hasn’t missed a mammogram in 26 years, so they caught it early, and her prognosis is good.

Mary is the most selfless, caring, witty, and intelligent person I know. She is my best friend and my mama. The amount of her time, love, and energy she has given to the Church, schools, her family, and working with the sisters in Adrian is a testament to what a lovely woman Mary is inside and out.

Mary has recently retired from her job as Director of Associate Life for the Adrian Dominican Sisters, and has been saving over the years for her dream trip to Alaska. She has been to 49 states-Alaska would make it all 50.

She has to use these savings and then some to cover the surgery itself, not to mention appointments with the surgeon, oncologist, radiologist, and geneticist.

There is enough to worry about when fighting cancer. I don’t want my mama to worry about money as well.
