Please Help Max in His Fight Against Cancer

In January 2023, my brother Max at the age of 18 received life changing news: he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor. Complications from the tumor caused one of his lungs to collapse, push his organs and his heart all to the right side of his body, ruling out surgery as an option. He immediately began aggressive chemotherapy treatments. After a year and a half of treatments, the tumor was able to shrink by about 40%. Unfortunately, the chemotherapy lost its effectiveness as the tumor cells mutated and stopped responding to the treatments.

In the effort to slow the cancer’s progression, Max then underwent 32 cycles of radiation, but this too failed to shrink the tumor. Sadly, the doctors have now advised hospice care, as there is nothing more they can do.

Yet, we believe in miracles-and one came when God opened the door to a new opportunity for treatment overseas. A clinic in Turkey is offering a different approach of treatments that is not offered in the U.S. Our greatest hope is that Max will have the strength to complete all 10 cycles, bringing him the healing we pray for every day.
