Please Support Erin After Being Hit By A Car

Hi everyone! My name is Erin and I am currently a Junior at the University of South Carolina. I am currently an Early Childhood Education Major and I work at a daycare as an infant teacher.

So, on Monday, 9/9, a shooting took place at my apartment complex. A driver was shot in the head and so he lost control of the car and slammed into me. I was smooshed between my own car and his. Because of this, I have a broken leg, bruising ALL OVER, and my car insurance thinks my car is gonna be a total loss, so now I don't have a car. I’m also going to try to move apartments because I no longer feel safe there.

On top of this, I am out of work and out of school. I come from a middle class family and have been paying my way through college. So, I’m kind of stuck at the moment, since the driver that hit me has passed, and the shooter hasn’t been caught. So as of right now, I don’t have much financial help. I went to the ER by ambulance, got a CT scan, and a ton of X-Rays.

If you read all of this, thank you! This has truly been an awful time, but it is what it is and there’s nothing to reverse it. I truly feel blessed that I came out of this alive, but of course, that means I’m definitely gonna struggle financially. Anything helps!
