Please help me get my mum home from Morocco

Hi my name is Jack and I’m fundraising to help with my mums medical bills abroad and getting her home, her insurance has refused to pay out due to inadequate information supplied due to her failing to update her long standing policy before she flew out and we stand at £20,000. She has suffered a heart attack which required a stent while in Morocco, threats of arrest have been made apparent , When I asked for leniency on the bill so we can get her home and pay it off gradually and they refused!

We need her home

UPDATE! (Saturday 15th Feb)

My mum is safe in the hospital scared but recovering, she is there until Tuesday 18th February although now alone in marrakech, I am due to fly there on Tuesday to hopefully bring her home, The British embassy has been in touch trying to negotiate payment plans, I’ve been in touch with TUI who appear to be helpful and compassionate and discussions with the insurance who state they will not leave us “ high and dry “ I am scrambling around for medical records that they have asked for but ultimately I’m trying to foot the bill.

Regardless of the negativities and comments. This is my mother and the most caring, supportive and now terrified woman in a foreign country. Compassion is all I ask for as we navigate through the darkest time of our lives.

Our mother is our whole existence and we are fearing the worst.

NEXT UPDATE (Monday 17th Feb)

The Embassy and Tui have confirmed they can’t assist any further as-well as the local MP. Flying out to collect her on my part is halted due to not knowing when she will be released. The doctor has stated that’s she is medically fit for discharge but their finance team are withholding her right to freedom. The care there has been questionable to say the least. Threats of arrest have been made again and she is terrified of what could happen to her as we all are, our vulnerable, loving, caring and selfless mother who would never harm anyone. This only happens in bad dreams or horror films, never would have imagined this would be our reality.
