Please help me fix my spine

Hi, my name is Debbie, I'm 36 years old, and while I am very lucky in many ways my health is not one of them. I currently have liver disease, dodgy kidneys, a backwards heart valve, a haywire immune system, seizures, fibromyalgia, and the discs in my spine are degenerating and keep herniating.

When I am doing well, I love to run or attend LARP events, plan or play escape rooms, and study genetics having recently completed a masters degree in conservation genetics. I'd love to start applying for PhDs in genetic engineering.

However, at the moment, I spend most of my time heavily fatigued and in a great deal of pain to the point of triggering seizures. I cannot leave the house without crutches, and struggle to even sit upright for more than an hour before the spasms in my spine become unbearable. This has been the case since around January 2023. It will be another 4 months before I can even get an appointment with the pain clinic, and an unknown waiting list after that for treatment.

I am launching this fundraiser to raise funds for private treatment. I have been quoted up to £250 for the initial consultation, and up to £1700 for a caudal epidural to relieve the pain in my spine which will include all fees, anaesthesia, and a follow up appointment.
