Please Help Me Get to Midrasha (Seminary)

Hi,

My name is Adi Ovad and for the last few years, I have been dreaming of my year in Seminary upon finishing 12th Grade.

I made aliyah together with my family in 2021 from South Africa when I was 17 years old. I have recently graduated from YTA Girls School, an English-speaking school for teens who made aliyah and finish their schooling in Israel.

My Hebrew is unfortunately not very good due to having attended an English school and therefore my options for attending midrasha (seminary) here in Israel are limited to those with English-speaking programs.

I have fallen in love with a midrasha (seminary) called Machon Maayan located just north of Ashdod and I would love to have the opportunity to grow in Torah and Mitzvot by attending this incredible institution. After having received an extremely generous scholarship from Machon Maayan, the amount I need to raise to be able to pay for my year at Machon Maayan is 20,000 USD.

My parents are unfortunately not in a financial position to be able to send me to midrasha and I am also unable to receive any sort of scholarship or subsidy from Masa due to having made aliyah in 2021.

I am therefore trying to raise money for my year in seminary, as this has been one of my biggest dreams since I was a little girl. Funds would go directly to Machon Maayan to cover my tuition for the year. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated by me and my parents and would help turn my dream into reality.
