Please help me give him the send off he deserves
This is my daddy, last June he got diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer he went through months of chemo and treatments lost all his hair and spent most of time ill. In December 2019 he had an operation to have half of his oesophagus and half of his stomach removed, this was a 12 hour operation which endured plenty of complications. The operation was at the end a success and recovery begun. My dad finished his last lot of chemo just before lockdown started.
I thought great I’ve got my dad back and he slowly started showing progress but a couple of months ago he was having a lot of problems eating, going to the toilet and being sick so he had a CT scan which showed cancer on his abdomen so once again the professionals started making a plan, this time the cancer was terminal but they were going to give him 3 rounds of chemo and see what they could do next to prolong his life. On Friday he got taken into hospital it turns out it’s also spread to his bowel and it’s too far gone to operate so he’s coming coming home because theirs nothing more they can do. In the process of all this he has not been able to work living off universal credits and savings which has now gone he has tried to apply for PIP but keeps getting g refused. He has very limited life left I doubt he will still be with us by end of September.
so I am asking for you to help me give him the one final send off that he deserves because between me and his wife Linda we’ll be lucky to get him a cardboard coffin. Any money left overwill go to cancer charity’s.
please please donate even if it’s just a couple of quid every little helps. He doesn’t want an expensive funeral he doesn’t even want flowers but as his only child and he is my only standing adult relative left I just want to give him the day he deserves.
Thankyou
