Please Help Me Give My Grandma the Farewell She Deserves
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sara, and I’m writing this with a very heavy heart.
Just days ago, my husband and I traveled to Florida to visit my grandma, Shirley. She hadn’t been doing well, and while we knew it was serious, we also held on to hope. We’ve had scares before, and my heart believed she might pull through once again.
We spent precious time with her, and I am so grateful we made that trip. But heartbreakingly, the day we left Florida and stopped for the night in Louisiana, we got the devastating news: my grandma had passed away. We woke up to that call while on our way back to Texas, and I can’t describe the pain of hearing it while still so far from home.
Now, as my family prepares for her burial, time is running out. I’m doing everything I can to get back to Florida to say a final goodbye and to help contribute to the memorial expenses. Unfortunately, between travel costs and the service itself, we simply can’t do it on our own right now.
This isn’t just about getting there — it’s about giving my Grandma Shirley the beautiful farewell she deserves, and finding closure for myself and my family in this painful time.
If you can, please consider donating to help cover the costs of travel and the memorial. Every little bit helps more than I can ever express. And if you’re not able to give, simply sharing this with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me honor my grandma’s life and legacy. ❤️
With love and deep gratitude,
Sara
