Dad will come home on hospice Tuesday.

Hi, so I am editing the fundraiser as yesterday we where informed that my dad doesn't have much longer left with us. We where told that he is not eligble for a transplant becaise he is going into renal failure, his kidneys are shutting down. His lungs are only functioning at 5% they will not heal. An his heart is dying. So mentally dad's still fighting but physically his body can't fight no more. It's shutting down. I wish that I had awesome news that he got better. Boy how do I wish that. I wish that we had longer with him. Being only 57 I thought he would live to his 80's. Not in God's plans though. God is calling our hero home. He is calling home one of his strongest fighters. The reason I upped the fundraiser is because we are going to need help with cremation and his celebration of life. An boy did my dad have a good life. Please if you could continue to share an help it will be appreciated so very much. We dont know when he will pass away which is why I have the date set so far out. I hope everyone understands. Hi, My name is Brandi Guicciardini. My father is sick an has been in the hospital for 6 weeks this Friday. To explain a little more. My father was adopted as a baby. He was born in August of 1964 an placed up for adoption immediately. He ended up being adopted at the end of 1964 beginning of 1965.

The one thing that my father has always wanted to know was who his biological parents where. I payed for his orignal pre-adopted birth certificate an in 2021. Where he was able to locate his biological mother. Unfortunately, she passed away in 1999 so my father was never able to meet her.

My father has been sick since December. It started with breaking his ribs when he was coughing. Then in February he developed Covid-19 an Covid-19 pneumonia. He finally went to the hospital because of that. So while in the hospital he caught Covid-19 for a 2nd time an ended up with pneumonia again.

During this time I remembered that my father still didn't know whom his biological father was. I took the ancestry test I had and sent it in. Never did I think I would have a close match with a relative. Well I did I found my fathers father, my grandfather. So I started making calls, emailing an on Monday talked with him my grandfather. He never knew about my father an he couldn't remember my grandmother. Remember this was back in 1964 an it's 2022 now.

However the reason for this gofundme is to get my grandfather an cousin here as soon as possible because it isn't looking good for my father doesn't have much longer left. I need to help finish my dad's wish to meet his father. I want to do this before he passes away. My dad hasn't been perfect but he is my hero. He sacrificed while raising us an I honestly don't know what I'll do when he isn't here anymore.

Please help me grant my father his last wish.
