Stolen Camera Gear Replacement Fund

Hi there, my name is Emily and I’m an aspiring concert, event, and DJ photographer!

Unfortunately, after taking a trip to Sol Fest for an opener gig, my camera, flash, and two lenses were stolen out of my car and my insurance won’t cover replacements. This is a devastating blow to my budding photography business that I’ve saved up and invested in over the past year. My dream is to be able to support myself being a full-time music and festival photographer, and not being able to say yes to gigs will slow my momentum in building my client base and reputation significantly.

My Canon EOS 6D mark ii, 3 batteries, my external flash and diffuser cover, my Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens, and my Canon 24-70mm f/4 lens were all in my compact camera bag, as well as my blue light glasses, an SD card, and my battery charger.

Totaled up brand new, this equipment costs well over $5k but I purchased all but the 50mm lens, SD card, and camera bag second-hand, so I’m just trying to recoup what was taken from me.
