Please help me save Meatball.

Hey everyone, 

This morning (Saturday, August 5th) we woke up to our cat Meatball having several vomiting episodes. Unfortunately due to how quick he eats this isn't unusual for him and we watched him closely for a while assuming this wasn't anything alarming for him. He went most of the day afterwards perfectly fine and so we thought we were in the clear. At around 11 p.m. we noticed he was making strange yowling sounds followed by him clenching his entire body in pain. We quickly decided we were not in the clear and rushed him to an emergency vet. After several hours waiting they figured out that he has a complete urethral blockage due to a lodged stone or crystal. Because of this he is not able to pass any urine and his bladder has now swollen to twice the size of what it is supposed to be. Without immediate intervention he could quickly go into kidney failure and unfortunately pass away. 

The quote we were given in order to give Meatball lifesaving care is about $3600 depending on if he will need more intervention or not. 

Meatball is only 6 years old. I have hand raised Meatball since the day he was born. He slept in my shirts and drank from a bottle at 3 days old. I have never had a bond with an animal the way I do with Meatball. He is quite literally my baby. Anyone who knows or has met Meatball knows what a special cat and what a ham he is.

 Unfortunately times are hard for us as well as everyone else right now. Any contribution at all would help and would mean the entire world to us.

UPDATE: Gofundme is not letting me post a regular update but thank you to everyone who donated, meatball is home and has so far made a full recovery. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us save our sweet boy. Hopefully with a prescription diet he will never have to deal with this issue again.
