Please Help Me Save My Grandson – Time Is Running Out!

My grandson’s safety is in danger, and my wife and I am his only hope.

I never imagined I’d be here, pleading with the world for help. But today, I have no choice. My grandson is trapped in a dangerous situation, and if I don’t act now, I may lose my chance to protect him forever.

Why am I seeking Your Help?

I am fighting a legal battle to ensure my grandson’s safety. The DCFS and legal system in Texas is failing him, and I’m running out of time. Every day that passes is another day that he is at risk, and I refuse to stand by and do nothing.

The only thing standing between him and safety is money—legal fees, court costs, and the price of fighting for what is right. I am willing to give everything I have, but I simply don’t have enough. That’s why I’m turning to you. I have always tried to help others

The state of Texas is giving us 3 options. He can go into foster care in Texas, he can be sent to his deadbeat father in VA., a man who has spent less than 30 days with him since age 1, or we have to move to Texas temporarily, rent a house, move our lives, and abandon our home in Washington. We have a lawyer working to allow us to remove him to Washington where he will receive therapy, medication, psychiatry, tutoring, and love. But this is a VERY expensive and lengthy process. This week alone has us over 10K in the hole. At this pace we will have nothing left to care for him even if we win. This is a huge financial burden at the worst possible time.

No other members of his family are here for him, but we will not let this light of our lives suffer for one more day. I have custody of him at the moment, and will fight like hell to keep it that way, and with your help we will win.

This Is Unfortunately a Life of Death Situation

This is not just about custody. This is about survival. The details are painful, but please trust me when I say that my grandson is not safe where he is. Two weeks ago a drug addict literally walked away with my grandson out of his house. I cannot let a lack of funds be the reason he suffers. Our grandson is our whole life. The first words my wife ever said after seeing him be born, in tears, she exclaimed "He's PERFECT" and their bond has been strong ever since that day.

He is an amazing, loving, funny, caring, unique individual who has unfortunately never been allowed to flourish because he is the byproduct of a mother with mental and drug abuse issues that are only getting worse, and a father who only wants him so that he can not pay child support any longer. His wife and kids with her are his priority and in the last 3 years he has lived 20 minutes from my grandson and seen him less than 20 times.

My grandson deserves to live with us on our land, learning what real love looks like. He and my wife are connected at the heart, and sending him to live with dad is almost as bad as sending him to foster care. I did not think that I would have to put up a legal battle for this, but he is worth it.
