Please Help Me to afford the surgery I need.

Hi! My name is Norman and I am almost 5 years old. I’m a loyal, loving, cuddly, affectionate, sweet,185lb big boy. I am a Blood Donor with a universal blood type. When called upon, no matter what time of day, my dad brings me to the clinic where I lay quietly and give my blood for those dogs in need of my help. To this date I have given 16 lifesaving blood donations, continuing the legacy of my step dad Nuke. He throughout his life also saved dozens of dogs lives through his many blood donations. In 2018, Nuke was recognized and bestowed The SPCA “Dog Hero of the Year Award” for life saving efforts. I have a great life, great human family and lots of friends. I make friends easily and love everybody I meet.

 

I am rambunctious, goofy and sometimes “too” full of energy... which brings me to the here and now...

In the past few weeks I have been quite sore and limping quite a bit. After a visit with Uncle Ken my personal veterinarian, I have learned that I have messed up and injured myself big time. Apparently I have torn my cruciate ligament and am now in need of a major TPLO surgery from an orthopedic specialist.

 

My family is very distressed and my dad is a complete mess of anxiety, worry and hasn’t slept much at all. I have learned this surgery is very expensive and I will need lots of help and medication in my recovery. I will be doing things that will be very hard for me to accomplish, like getting up to go to the bathroom and toughest of all will be laying still and doing a lot of nothing while I heal.

 

So here it is... Please, I am asking for your help. If there is even a small $$ amount you can contribute, it would mean the world to me. I know this is very stressful for my family, who would do anything for me, including going into debt. I’m hoping by reaching out to you... I can do my part and avoid some of that from happening.
