Please Help Me To Open My Cottage Kitchen Bakery

Hi everyone, my name is Katie Pomeisl. For my family and friends, you're all aware how much I enjoy baking anything and everything I can think of. It's time for me to start really doing what I've always dreamed of from the time I was a kid. I want to start running a cottage kitchen bakery out of my home. My goal is to be able to start with a select few baked goods to sell both out of my home and at local farmer's markets and fairs.

I've spent the past few weeks crunching numbers of cost of products and supplies along with all of the certifications and inspections I will need to complete. I finally got my official startup number and I was hoping to get some help from my family and friends. I'd be so grateful for anyone helping me out to make my dream a reality.

I've spent so long dreaming of running my own bakery, from what I would name it to what types of baked goods I would make. After a bit of thinking, I realized that I wanted to dedicate the name of my business to my dog, Tucker. Tucker is an 11 year old pit bull who sort of fell into my lap several years ago during a time in my life that I was struggling with my own self image and mental health. Though many days are still a struggle, Tucker gave me a reason to want to push forward. I figured there was no better way to show what he means to me than to pay homage to his name in my next big adventure.
