PLEASE HELP- Medical Assistance- Found Injured Dog

Donation protected

UPDATE: Evening of 3/13, the finder, now foster, took Mr. Man to the San Antonio Animal Hospital. Upon original exam, they did not think prognosis good, there was some question around taking him to the Humane Society where they might be able to help or humanely euthanize however, after I spoke with foster, we felt in our hearts he deserved everything we could do so ordered X-rays and bloodwork. The next call I received from the vet was much more optimistic, his bloodwork came back a lot better than they anticipated! He is likely to make it but we will know more when the X-rays come back tomorrow. And they don’t believe there are any broken bones by some miracle! The clinic was so very kind in donating some of the care and the vet techs even pitched in some funds. They said that although Mr. Man must have been in immense pain, he was still seeking out attention and happy to be around people. He was so sweet! He was trying to wag his tail as much as he could.
I am trying to figure out how to add invoices and receipts for visibility. I have paid his bills personally so far and now that I know we have some momentum thanks to each of you, I will tell foster to go ahead and schedule next appt to stitch all his wounds. Please know, I’m not a rescue, just a regular person who owns rescue dogs and fosters occassionally. I just felt a calling this morning that I needed to help this woman and this dog, rescues have their hands full right now and this was the best way I could think to help.

The morning of Wednesday March 13, 2024, this boy was found on the side of the road on a carpet with a Wendy's bag of dog food in Dade City, FL. He has puncture wounds all over his body and older scars. The finder has offered to foster but does not have the financial resources to provide for his care. I have been working directly with the vet clinic (San Antonio Animal Hospital who can verify this case) to provide for his care. The finder has temporarily named him Mr. Man.
Mr. Man is in the process of getting X-rays and bloodwork now to determine the extent of his injuries but he needs medical donations. The vet has preliminarily said he has a long road ahead with bloating in his stomach, fluid in his lungs and a popping sound when she inspected his leg.

THIS IS A HORRIFIC EXAMPLE OF HOW HUMANS CAN BE TERRIBLE & CRUEL. LET'S SHOW THERE ARE THOSE OF US WHO ARE GOOD AND KIND.
I want this boy to live and know love in his life as I'm sure you do too. Every small amount helps, thank you for donating <3
