Please help Melissa get her Service Dog!!!

Hi- Julie here. I decided to put together a GoFundMe for my dear friend and school classmate, Melissa Ann. I’m doing a copy and paste below to describe why she would really benefit from having a Service Dog, as her condition is so complicated.

I JUST GOT THE PHONE CALL TELLING ME THAT UDS SERVICES HAS 3 DOGS THEY WANT TO INTRODUCE ME TO NEXT WEEK!!!! I'm sooooo excited!!! Now my fund raising journey continues!! Through the help of many of you wonderful friends, I have $900 to go towards my future service dog.

I know that so many of you have reached out and sent checks to me for the service dog that I have been approved for. I have a long way to go with raising money and one of my friends is going to make a go fund me. Thank you to all who have supported me so far and just know that I appreciate your support and kindness

My situation is (and I will sum it up without going into how it all impacts me) I have multiple chronic illnesses. Chiari Malformation, Syringomyelia, Dysautonomia, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Neurally Mediated Syncope, Small Fiber Neuropathy and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. I was just approved for a service dog through United Disability Services. The dog would be able to assist with many daily tasks and possibly for stability. The cost is $5,300 but could take 2 to 4 years before I am matched. In the interim I was told I could begin fundraising efforts. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I greatly appreciate it.
