Please help Monica and family

Hello everyone,

Earlier this week I received a message from Monica that she asked me to share with you all. "Just an update: I have stage 4 cancer and I start treatments this week. Any sharing, prayers or donations would be a blessing. We will be traveling to Ontario daily."

Bobby and Monica are beyond grateful for everyone's support thus far, as your donations and prayers have been been keeping them afloat as they face this challenging obstacle. **UPDATE** 08/14/23

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Monica has been diagnosed with uterine cancer, which has unfortunately spread to her brain. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly challenging time for her and her family. Monica is a strong and resilient individual, but she will undoubtedly need our support and encouragement more than ever as she embarks on this journey to fight the disease.

My name is Amairin and I've set up this GoFundMe in hopes to help a great friend through this trying time in her life. Life has certainly been unfair to Monica and her recent Fiance Bobby as of late. Just a few months ago, Bobby popped the question and Monica said YES! However, things have taken a turn since they started to plan their wedding.

Monica, typically a very cheerful individual and a delight to be around, seemed out of character when she started mentioning that her head was continuously hurting. Come to find out after a couple of doctors visits, they have found a mass in her skull which has impaired her vision. She has since undergone surgery and will need more to follow.

Fun fact about Monica, she has put in and dedicated a lot of time to the Sheriff station she works for. She has served as a supervisor for years and has always supported her team. She has never fallen short on her work, has always offered a helping hand to the deputies and upper management in our organization, and has always provided service with a smile to the public who have come into her station looking for help and/or answers.

I can only hope that all the good in the world she has put out will come back to her one way or another the one time she asks for help. Please family and friends, if you do not have the financial means to help her and Bobby, I ask that you at least spread the word the same way she would if this GoFundMe was for a coworker, friend or family member of hers. This is an extremely overwhelming and traumatizing time for them; but please remember, what you put into the world will always come back to you.
