Please help Mr. Cory!

Meet Cory Marquez. Otherwise known as, “Mr. Cory” to all the staff, students, and families at our small Placitas Elementary School, in our Village of Placitas, NM. This young man puts in tireless hours of service at our school as our dedicated Head Custodian. Beginning each day at 5:00AM, so that our school is prepared for all of our staff and students, is only a snapshot of what he does for us all on a daily basis. He is the epitome of hard work, putting everyone’s needs above his own, but yet has been dealt an unfair hand at life. A couple months ago, he was diagnosed with Stage 2 Testicular Cancer. News that devastated us all. He will begin aggressive chemotherapy starting October 25th, and will continue for 9-12 weeks. With his frequent visits to the Cancer Center, for weeks on end, comes copays, medication, and self-care needs. Your kind and generous donations will go toward the costs of Cory’s cancer treatments as a whole. Please consider assisting Mr. Cory during this unexpected and trying time. Not only is he our head custodian, but in our small school community, he has made a huge impact on our hearts. We love our Mr. Cory.
