Hi everyone,

My name is Chanelle A. and I need your help, please. I have a 2-year-old "Chorkie" (Half chihuahua/Half Yorkie) by the name of Hazel.

Hazel is suffering from a fractured femur and cannot walk on her back right leg.

Hazel needs an $8000 surgery at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and they require a $4000 down payment to perform the surgery and to move forward with a payment plan for the next $4000.

We are the King family. We are a family of 6. There is my husband Martin and our 4 children, ages; 11, 9, 7 & 3. We live in Worcester, MA and we do not make a lot of money.

I work in Vocational Rehabilitation for people with mental illness and my husband does merchandising.

Hazel is so important to our entire family and we are extremely saddened by the fact that she is suffering and could potentially lose her leg.

Hazel is a special, loving and very energetic dog. She can be a little shy and a bit timid but she is the sweetest thing and would never hurt a fly.
