Please help my Bazile who got his tail "degloved"

Hi, my name is Crystal, and I don't usually do this, but my sweet Bazile got his tail stuck in a door and ripped off about 4-5" of his tail.. The "spine" is exposed, and HAS to be amputated, but the vet will not proceed until I have all the funds ready BEFORE they book him in for surgery I am scared that the longer it is only bandaged up, it will start to rot, or get infected.. The exposed spine worries me, seeing that it is also part of the spinal column, and to have an infection in the spine can only end up causing more issues. I have already had to borrow almost 400$ for the emergency vet.. Please help my sweet Bazile.. I have already applied to the Farley program , and a few others but they won't help me. So this is last resort to hopefully get my sweet Baziles tail fixed before he ends up with an infection... Anything helps.. Thank you so much for taking the time and reading this...
