Please help my brother get proper representation

Hi close friends and family,
On September 22 my little brother Salvador Ulloa was pulled out of class at Schurr High School by the Monterey Park PD and taken into custody for a crime he was accused of, but did not commit. The day of the arrest officers from MPPD began questioning Salvador at his school where he would request his mother to be there with him. They responded by threatening to take him in immediately if he were to not cooperate. This is only the beginning of the mistreatment and prejudice they would soon show him. Scared and confused, as any child would be, Sal cooperated which would immediately follow with him being taken into custody, where he’s still being held. Upon first contact with his mother the MPPD would accuse Sal of being a gang member, which he is far from. Sal is 17 year old high school junior who is on the wrestling team and takes AP classes. His friends and family would describe him as nothing less than an exceptional young man who is honest, caring, respectful, stays out of trouble, and represents his family well. But because of the area Sal lives, they want to make him out to be just the opposite. Sal has dreams of wrestling in college, obtaining a bachelors degree, and then going into the Navy. These dreams are quickly evaporating due to the fact he’s being held out of school and sports, and kept in custody. The reason it’s been so hard to get Sal out, at least until his court dates, is because we’ve had to settle for a tired and overworked public defender who quite frankly doesn’t have a reason to care about Sal. Me, my family, and Salvador would be very grateful to anyone who would so kindly help us raise the funds to get him proper representation. 100% of all money raised will go towards making sure Sal has a fair chance at not having his entire life and future ruined. Please help Sal from being punished for a crime he did not commit.
Note: For legal reasons this was intentionally left vague if you have any questions regarding Sal and/or his case please text or call me: (323) [phone redacted]. I’ll happily answer any questions on there because we have nothing to hide.
