Dear family and friends,
My brother Tony Ray Cabrera is the most selfless, kind-hearted person you could ever meet. He's always remembered by his unforgettable smile and contagious laughter. He is one of the most strongest person I know.
On March 15, 2017, he was admitted to the emergency room for his high fever, dizziness, fatigue, dehydration and body pains. During the past week, he underwent extensive amount of blood tests, ultrasounds, and x-rays. He had also encountered chest pains, shortness of breath, temperature fluctuation, trouble sleeping due to pain and weight loss. He has very little memory when spoken to; he has a difficult time remembering things. Doctors and specialists are diligently working very hard and trying their very best to figure out what type of condition he may have. As of today March 21, 2017, they may be leaning towards a condition known as SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus). My family and I are very stunned and it hits straight to our hearts. There are no words to express how we truly feel about his condition, especially seeing him at a very weak state while in so much pain.
As difficult as it is to ask for help, he'll be facing some financial challenges due to medical and personal expenses, prolong hospital stays, numerous tests and physical therapy. His duration for recovery is still unknown and is still fighting to get back on his feet and daily routines. Any donation will be extremely grateful.
