Hello, my name is Jack Pitt, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for my dad, Jason Pitt...a devoted father of four, a grandfather of nine, and my best friend.

A Life of Struggles and Triumphs.

My dad has ADHD and he's always faced life’s challenges with resilience. He grew up without his mom, who passed away when he was just a child, and was left to fend for himself as his dad worked long hours. Despite this, he went on to raise me and my sisters on his own, working tirelessly to provide for us.

He climbed his way up from nothing, starting with a simple bank job and eventually becoming a manager in a company contracted by the Home Office. He was responsible for over 250 staff, and we were all so proud of what he achieved. Against the odds, my dad built a life for us...a life full of love, hard work, and hope.

Betrayed by His Employer.

After six successful years as a manager, my dad’s world came crashing down. He was forced out of his job while dealing with a disability, leaving him without pay or support. This left him unable to afford his mortgage, bills, or even food. He visited food banks and struggled through a mental health crisis, all because of the unjust treatment by his employer.

For years, my dad has been fighting for justice on his own, preparing for two Employment Tribunals scheduled for March 2025. He was determined to represent himself, even though it’s a monumental task.

Now Fighting for His Life.

As if that weren’t enough, life dealt him the cruelest blow imaginable: just before Christmas, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He’s had over three liters of fluid drained from his right lung and recently suffered a life-threatening pulmonary embolism in his left lung.

Now, he’s not just fighting a powerful employer...he’s fighting for his life.
