Please help my dad in his time of need

Dave is currently in the hospital for the 3rd time in the last month and a half. After many test scans and bone biopsy, we finally have a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma. This is causing Cardiac Amyloidosis which is making his heart fail. The oncologist is supposed to come by today to possibly go ahead and start chemotherapy. We don't know a lot of details about what treatment will look like yet, but will likely be chemo and later a stem cell transplant.

Hi, my name is Nicole Schlabach. I'm making this for my dad David Schlabach. My dad is the hardest working person I know. He is the funniest and nicest person and would help a complete stranger without hesitation. He is a volunteer firefighter and a first responder in his spare time. He recently just helped put out a fire on the mountain that he lives on this past week despite him not feeling well. His wife Christy Schlabach finally convinced my dad to go to the hospital. At the hospital they found out that he is having heart failure, and he has had multiple tests, scans and ultrasounds through the last few days. In doing so, in addition to the heart failure, it was found that he has some abnormal levels with his pancreas, liver, kidneys and gallbladder. There's a good chance that some of these abnormal functions are due to the contrast dye used for testing and the medication used to remove the fluid causing the heart failure. Good news is that his stress test showed no significant blockage of arteries but that left his Cardiologist a little puzzled as to what's going on with the heart. It was found that he had fluid in his belly and had an inflamed gallbladder. He had surgery this morning to remove the gallbladder and did well in surgery. When he was in recovery his blood pressure dropped and caused more some concerns. He has been placed in ICU for closer evaluation. His BP is stable at this time with medication. At this time the focus is on keeping his BP stable and get his kidneys moving. Thus far the focus has been keeping the fluid off of him due to the heart failure. Unfortunately, that has taken a toll on his kidneys while receiving the contrast and other medications. We are still waiting on a cardiac MRI to try to get a better understanding of what's going on with the heart. That has not been able to be done yet, as they were focusing on getting him stable in all other areas mentioned above.
