Please help my dad to cost his eye surgery

Hello everyone, my name is Daniela. I come to you through this site with the purpose to raise money to help me fund my dad's eye surgery in Caracas Venezuela.

My dad works as a systems engineer and needs his vision to work. He lives in Venezuela. He had surgery on his left eye in March of this year; the doctors had to remove a lens he had in due to cataracts because it was inflaming his macula (this is an area near the retina which is the region of keenest vision). The cost of this surgery was US$5000 and was covered by me and my aunts by borrowing money from the bank and taking some from our savings. With that surgery, the doctors removed the old lens and put in a new one.

After treating his eye with anti-inflammatory eye drops for four months, my dad is back at the doctor's office because the eye seems to be rejecting the new lens: it keeps inflaming and irritating the macula and has to have another surgery to remove it. This new surgery will cost $4444 and we are unable to come up with that amount in a short time.

The funds we collect will help us pay for his surgery and cover the costs for other exams the doctors want to do to determine if the reason the eye is rejecting the lens is due to an underlying condition. It will also help us come up with these funds in a short time.

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Daniela y vengo a este medio con el proposito de colectar fondos para ayudarme a costear la cirugia del ojo de mi papa.

Mi papa trabaja como ingeniero de sistemas y necesita su vision para poder trabajar.El tuvo un cirugia en su ojo izquierdo en Marzo de este anio. ; los doctores le tuvieron que remover un lente que tenia por cataratas porque este le estaba irritando la macula (esta es un area del ojo que esta cerca de la retina). El costo de esta cirugia fue $5000 y ese monto fue cubierto por mi y mis tias por medio de prestamos y parte de nuestros ahorros. Con esa cirugia los doctores removieron el lente viejo y colocaron uno nuevo.

Despues de tratarse el ojo con gotas anti-inflamatorias por cuatro meses, mi papa ha tenido que regresar al doctor porque el ojo parece estar rechazando el lente nuevo: este sigue inflamando e irritando la macula, y necesita otra cirugia para removerlo. Esta nueva cirugia cuesta US$4444 y no podemos reunir estos fondos en tan poco tiempo.

Los fondos que recaudemos nos ayudaran a pagar por la cirugia y cubrir los costos de otros examenes que los doctores le quieren hacer para determinar si la razon por la cual el ojo esta rechazando el lente es debido a otro problema. Tambien nos ayudara a conseguir el dinero en un corto plazo.
