PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY AFFECTED by Hurricane Helene

Hello friends and family, our mother (Kathy), fiancé (Shawn) and their dog Molly are experiencing unprecedented events caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. They will not ask for help themselves, but they are on a fixed income and we want to help however we can.

They are very fortunate that their house did not sustain irreparable damage however, the landslides still pose a significant risk and their neighborhood/community has been destroyed. The town's water tower was completely washed away due to the flooding and the town has no water, gas, or food. Due to these catastrophic events, they've had to relocate and travel back to Ohio to stay with immediate family until it's safe for them to return to their home. We have started this GoFundMe page to help cover expenses due to relocating until they can return to their hometown and rebuild what they lost.
