Please Help My Family Grieving Multiple Losses

My name is Linda Flowers. With a heavy heart I am writing to my fellow brothers and sisters on behalf of one of our own, my beloved niece and union sister Lisa Wilson.

On Halloween night she suffered the most unthinkable tragedy when she lost the father of her three children Taraja Ramsess, her 1-month-old baby Fujibo Ramsess, and her 13-year-old step daughter Sundari Ramsess in a horrific car accident after a night of trick-or-treating. Another half-brother remains on life support as we pray for a miracle. Two half-sisters also involved in the accident thankfully are currently stable.

Lisa’s partner Taraja (a well-respected and widely-loved member of the film community with a successful career as a stuntman, a camera assistant, a grip, and an on-set dresser) was the main breadwinner of the family. Lisa is a longtime member of the hair department, but will not be in any physical or mental shape to return to work any time soon as she is newly postpartum and grieving the loss of her newborn. Unfortunately, once she is in a place where she can go back to work she will no longer be able to work full-time as she is a newly single mother to her two beautiful daughters Lulah (7) and Esme (5).

The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise enough money for Lisa and the girls to live and heal from this horrific tragedy. They money will go toward housing, medical and mental health care, education, expenses, food, and utilities. A good portion will go to set up a college fund for Lulah and Esme so that these innocent little girls can have the best chance at a happy and healthy future in the absence of their loving father and siblings. Lisa’s daughters Lulah and Esme deserve to thrive. They deserve a chance to beat this terrible hand they were dealt. With the love and support of this community I believe they can. I KNOW they can.
