Please Help My Family of Nine Escape Gaza
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Haneen Shaikha and I am reaching out with a heavy heart and much hope, as my family—my parents, myself, and my six siblings—are in dire need of your support. Recently, our home and my father’s store which we lived off of in Gaza was destroyed in the ongoing conflict, leaving us with nothing but the memories we carry.
Our lives changed overnight when an airstrike demolished our home. We survived, but our belongings and sense of security did not. Every day we face the harsh reality of instability, danger, and scarcity of essential resources like food and clean water.
To safely relocate and start over, we need to raise $50,000. This amount covers the $5,000 needed per person for emergency travel and relocation expenses to a safe area.
Our immediate priority is to find a safe place where we can recover from the trauma and begin rebuilding our lives. We aim to eventually secure employment for my parents and educational opportunities for my siblings and me. Any help that goes beyond our immediate needs will support these long-term goals.
How You Can Help:
1. Donate: Every little bit helps and brings us closer to safety.
2. Share: Please share our story with your network. The more people know, the more help we can receive.
3. Advice and Connections: If you have guidance or contacts that could assist with our relocation and resettlement, we would be grateful for your support.
The fear and uncertainty we live with daily is overwhelming, but your support can light our path to a safer life. With your help, we can hope for a future where we can thrive, not just survive. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.
