"My brother is in a huge mess in Luanda, Angola
Apparently, the person he sold goods of about 5000 USD to, lost the goods alongside other goods worth 49,000 USD in a mishap; the ship carrying the goods sank in a province called Cabinda. It shares a border with Congo.
The problem now is, out of the 5000USD worth of goods, 3000USD belongs to some people in his business unit, while 2000USD was his.
He narrated what happened and also told them that the customer that bought the goods died of heart attack upon hearing what happened. They refused and have insisted that he pay them back the full amount. He was able to gradually pay off some amount but remains 1,700USD.
They reported him to their union vice president but due to how he conducts himself; the man did not open any case but advised him to pay off the money by Thursday which is today. We have been appealing for funds and have realised 100USD only.
Yesterday, he was given a final warning to pay or forfeit his shop.
Please, we are appealing to you all to help us raise this 1700USD? My brother has been fighting to raise his business from scratch after a huge disappointment 2 years ago. Please help him! No amount is too little.
