Please Help My Friend Tom Salter

Hi, my name is Dave and I'm raising funds for my friend Tom Salter.

Due to a series of unfortunate and cascading events, Tom is on the verge of being homeless. Over the last 2+ years he's had to deal with multiple surgeries that have limited his ability to work, daily effects of narcolepsy and dysthymia, nonpayment from past jobs, and now a landlord that plans to raise his rent by 50% in Colorado, placing him further at risk. His desire is to move back to New Hampshire but his savings have been spent on medical issues. Before now, Tom has lived debt-free and paid for everything with cash. But he needs to cover moving costs and find a more permanent place to live instead of continuing to rent.

I've known Tom for over 25 years. Our friendship grew from weekly games of ultimate frisbee to a lot of serious talks and even more joking around to becoming like a brother. He served as my groomsman and became part of a tight-knit camping group of friends. The things that stand out about Tom are his outgoing, loving, and giving personality. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for anyone in need. And if he wasn't helping someone moving, with a building project, or something else he was outside - playing in and enjoying nature with friends. And that is why I am asking his friends to help Tom now, in his time of need.
