Please Help My Friend-Urgent Divorce Related Costs

Update: Hello Friends! Thank you so much to those of you who have been able to help already, we are so thankful and you are making an important difference. With all of your support so far, she was able to meet the retainer for the Attorney (yay, thank you!). I am back to ask for help for my dear friend who is in urgent, time-sensitive need of new housing. We have a goal of $9,000 for first/last/security, moving costs, and rent for the fall. If you are seeing this for the first time, here is the background from earlier this summer: My dear friend needs help with the legal fees for divorce. For safety reasons, personal details are not being shared here. She says, "I knew divorce would be part of what's happening, but the timing is very unexpected, and I need an Attorney to help with my case due to the complexity of the situation." Due to the nature of this case, the fees for legal representation are very substantial and payment for the retainer is due this Thursday, July 13, 2023. The retainer alone is $6,000 and additional costs are anticipated for the process. Additionally, my friend will need to seek new housing in the near future, which creates an additional financial burden. Thank you for any help you are able to give!
