Please Help My Husband with Lou Gehrig Bulbar ALS

Update:

Chris received detox, homeopathic remedies, cellular support, ozone therapy and spiritual healing in Colombia as well as yesterday stem cell therapy here in St Pete, FL. He is resting and recovering with some flu like symptoms from the stem cell treatment. The cost was over $20,000 for both protocols we maxed out every credit card $13k we could get and also with the help of our caring family and friends with $7k of donations ($5k gifted from my brother Vinny). We are so thankful to afford these for Chris as we hope this is a good start to hopefully stopping the progression and praying for some regeneration. In such a short time Chris has lost the ability to speak, issues eating/swallowing and has impacted his respiratory. Time is critical as Bulbar ALS is aggressive. To everyone who has cared and provided support we appreciate you more than we could ever express and know who are true friends and family are in life. While we need and had hoped for 300 million we could only afford 100 million. We hope to continue to raise funds to afford the stronger therapy which costs $26,000.

Hi friends. We are in desperate need of help from all of you. My husband Chris has been diagnosed with Bulbar ALS known as Lou Gehrig disease. He has the worst most aggressive kind, has lost the ability to speak, can hardly eat/drink, lost use of his tongue/muscles around his face and is struggling every day. It breaks my heart to watch my best friend suffer and want to help him but not be able to afford stem cell therapy that has proven to help ALS patients slow or stop progression or regain some function. With me being sick for so long we are already broke and cannot afford this therapy as we have nothing left and health insurance companies sadly will not pay for this therapy. From the bottom of my heart I ask for your support to help us afford to help my best friend in the world. I feel so bad to ask but I want to be able to help my husband Chris have a chance at life or more time with us. Our story:

My husband Chris is the nicest, caring, fun-loving guy and my best friend in the world. He’s always been healthy until late last year he began having speech issues. Fast forward a year, since springtime he can barely talk at all, hardly can drink/eat and was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS at only 46 years old. His case is fast progressing, the rarest most aggressive kind and there are proven therapies to help slow or stop the progression, maybe even help him regain some of his speech and swallowing capabilities, but sadly insurance does not cover these therapies. Unfortunately due to my sickness since I was 26 we have no savings left, not even retirement to afford these treatments for Chris and our credit is maxed out from my medical bills and now his, we even are having to move during all of this as we can no longer afford our home, but all that matters is Chris life and finding a way to afford proven treatments. As my husband has always looked out for me during my health decline, as I have a rare debilitating neurological illness myself, all I want is to give him the opportunity at life, at quality of life and to buy more time for him to be with us. We always love to give so it’s been so hard to accept that we need to ask others for help, but we are in true need to help to afford stem cell therapy and a few other proven treatments for Chris.
