Please Help My Mother Recover from Eaton Canyon Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Tianau, from Pasadena, CA.
The pictures included here are of my beautiful, funny mother outside her home before this devastating fire occurred. The second photo is the video she sent me after.
On January 8, 2025, my mother, Youlanda, lost everything due to the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire. The Altadena home she was renting a room in, along with all her belongings, was completely destroyed. This tragic event has left her with nowhere to go, and she has since been sleeping in her car.
As her daughter, I am doing everything I can to make sure she stays safe and supported. I speak with her every day, all day, to check on her well-being. However, being miles away in Northern California, I feel powerless. Unfortunately, I am not in a financial position to provide her with temporary housing or immediate relief as she works to rebuild her life.
Youlanda is a resilient and loving woman who has always faced life’s hardships with strength and selflessness, but this loss has been overwhelming. I am reaching out to ask for your help in giving my mother a chance to recover from this tragedy. Donations will go directly toward securing temporary housing and helping her find stability again.
No contribution is too small, and every bit of support will make a tremendous difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, compassion, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Tianau, Willie, and Rayneil
