Please help my niece Madison Crowder

Hello Everyone,

Received a frantic phone call in the middle of the night from my brother Tim Crowder who was at the hospital with his daughter who is in the Intensive Care Unit at Renown Hospital in Reno. She was involved in a horrific accident resulting in several broken bones and a severe head injury and is currently sedated in an effort to address several neurological issues ranging from seizures, and in and out of consciousness.

She is a 20 year old young lady and my brother's only daughter and youngest of his children. The family is truly devastated and at a loss in terms of what to do.

According to the doctors, she will remain in ICU for some time and due to the trauma on the brain, she will require extensive physical therapy. According to my brother, so much of her follow-up care is unknown as she is not out of the woods yet. Due to the nature of the injury to her brain, she is heavily sedated and requiring round the clock care until consciousness is regained.

Nobody should have to be faced with these kind of injuries, especially our children and young people.

Any help from friends and family will be so deeply appreciated as I know the medical bills will be extensive.
