Seeking Support for My Sister Maryjane

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to ask for your support for my sister, Maryjane, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. Maryjane lives in Anaheim, California, and in 2016, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Thankfully, her husband Aaron worked for a large, global food processing company, which provided comprehensive medical insurance that covered her treatments. While she received the best medical care available at the time, the chemotherapy and radiation therapy took a significant toll on her body. Despite these challenges, Maryjane persevered and, until August 2024, remained cancer-free.

Over the years, she has made several lifestyle adjustments due to the effects of her treatment, allowing her to lead a relatively normal life. After working multiple low-paying jobs, often juggling three or four at a time, she and Aaron managed to provide for their two children while maintaining a modest but fulfilling life.

After several years working at a local school, Maryjane's manager, who was always impressed with her performance, announced her retirement and expressed her desire for Maryjane to take over as the manager of the large catering department. This opportunity marked the first time Maryjane received the recognition she had long sought and secured a well-paying job.

With a promising career ahead and plans for trips to the UK to visit family, Maryjane received the heartbreaking news that she must undergo treatment again. Fortunately, her new job will provide her with the necessary care, but it does not cover her time off, which will be a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks. Although her husband and children are working, the rising cost of living in the U.S. poses significant challenges. Additionally, they have a young grandchild to care for.

On behalf of my sister, I am asking for your help to ensure that their family can keep their home and pay their bills during this difficult time.

We have never done anything like this before, but I sincerely hope for a positive outcome. Thank you in advance for your support.
