My sister Maureen has the big C and needs help!

This her story in her own words.

Hi, I’m Maureen. I need your help during a difficult time for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer (triple-negative, undefined, malignant ductile cancer with metastases). It all happened extraordinarily quickly. There is a good chance of remission with this particular type of cancer and I am undergoing treatment currently. Not Fun!!!

My goal is to move back to Rochester to be near my doctors, my treatment center and my lovely family: my two daughters, three grandsons and little Chloe, my granddaughter. All my sisters and brother reside in the area as well. Since my finances have been compromised by my inability to work, I want to raise one year’s worth of rent and enough for movers, the truck, a and a few bits of furniture I need. Also, would like a reserve for car repairs, etc.

I hope to survive this awful disease, but just this once I need a hand to make this time more comfortable and to get out of the awful, stress-filled, environmentally unsafe situation I got myself into. I will never heal where I am now and I cannot continue driving 120 miles round-trip for treatment. Please help with whatever you can. I appreciate all of you!
