Please help my son Jacob from his car accident

We are requesting monetary donations to support my son Jacob Grijalva. Jacob was driving to work on November 27th when his vehicle was struck by another car which ran a red light at high speed. As a result of the crash Jacob was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis in critical condition with severe injuries including head trauma, broken ribs and a collapsed lung, a chest tube to help prevent the pressure. Thankfully, Jacob has shown signs of recovery and was able to have his breathing tube removed today. But still in a lot of pain. I have remained by his side since his hospitalization.

We all know Jacob to be an energetic, kind and fun loving young man as well as a devoted partner and father to his girlfriend Isabel and 2yr old son Lorenzo.

No doubt Jacob will be unable to work for quite awhile so he and his family will be needing help with basic living expenses such as rent, utilities and groceries and hospital bills. Jacob does not have medical insurance and the results of the accident investigation and insurance implications are not yet known.

We also don’t have a good idea of how long Jacob’s road to full recovery will be but he is sure to benefit from the support of his family and friends and co-workers as he faces this challenge.
